Blue Ridge Soil Consulting, Inc. (BRSC) has been in business since 2006. BRSC is owned and operated by Tom Hogge of Ruckersville, VA. From 2001 to 2006, Tom worked for the Virginia Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist at the Greene County Health Department.Originally from Gloucester, VA, Tom graduated in 1995 from James Madison University with a Bachelor's Degree in Geology. From 1995 to 2001, he worked for NAEVA Geophysics, in Earlysville, VA as a geologist. He received his Authorized Onsite Soil Evaluator (AOSE) license in 2005. Tom plays banjo and sings in the The Virginia Ramblers bluegrass band and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Ruckersville. When Tom is not digging holes or playing the banjo, he may be found playing with his wife and kids, working in his garden or cooking.
