At Aesthetic Dermatology and Skin Cancer, our goal is to help people look as great on the outside as they feel on the inside. We specialize in our patient’s skin; its Health, Rejuvenation, and Cancer. Our passion is to make our patients smile, exceed their expectations, and improve their self-esteem.

Well respected for his work in Mohs micrographic controlled excision for skin cancers, the most effective technique for the removal of problem skin cancers, Jeffrey H. Binstock, M.D. has treated many thousands of patients with MOHS Surgery.

Dr. Binstock’s practice is dedicated to providing patients with excellence in skin rejuvenation and reconstructive procedures in an elegant and comfortable environment.

Dr. Binstock’s practice includes the comprehensive treatment of premature aging and wrinkling of the skin, sun damage, and facial rejuvenation. Treatments for these conditions include all aspects of laser and fractional laser skin rejuvenation, dermal filling agents like the Restylane and Juvederm family of products, muscle relaxers like Botox, lipo (fat) transfer, eyelid lifts, and Fem Touch vaginal laser rejuvenation. A believer in the Golden Ration of PHI, Dr. Binstock strives to improve the overall appearance and health of his patients’ skin, as well as their overall facial symmetry and proportion using this universal measure of beauty.

Using skills gained through years of performing thousands of liposuction procedures, Dr. Binstock offers CoolSculpting non-surgical fat reduction that can give liposuction like results by freezing problem fat deposits on virtually any body area, including the abdomen, love handles, flanks, inner and outer thighs, and upper arms.

One of the first surgeons to perform liposuction in America, Dr. Binstock trained in Paris with the procedure’s inventors, Dr. Yves-Gerard Illouz and Dr. Pierre Fournier.

Dr. Binstock started his practice in San Francisco in 1981 forming Aesthetic Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, Inc. in 1988. Great office, wonderful experience by Mary GG via Citysearch on 7/13/2010

I work in the financial district so the battery street location is convenient. They also take my insurance (ppo) which is important to me. I've gone to this office twice. The first time I came in for a spot on my face that I was worried…

standard doctors office, but poorly run with long waits by SFresident via Citysearch on 3/18/2010

I have been there twice, and both times have had to wait 30-45 minutes. The last time I went, despite having a 10am appointment, I never even got to see the doctor because I had to return to work. As of 10:45am (with me still waiting) I…

Not a good experience for me by ConcordPat via Citysearch on 9/10/2008

Maybe my experience was unusual. I went there to have a small blemish on my face looked at. It had been there for several weeks. I was kept waiting for 45 minutes. There was no apology or explanation for the wait. The doctor didn't…

Aesthetic Dermatology - Stephanie Cullinane, P.A. by s3w70h via Citysearch on 4/19/2007

I have been to this office at least three times in the last month and a half and each visit has been as pleasant as possible. Stephanie Cullinane is extremely friendly, understanding and non-judgmental. I do recommend a visit with…

Great P.A.- Recommend by k_t via Citysearch on 3/26/2007

When I woke up one morning with a huge itchy spot on my face I was freaked out and wanted to see someone ASAP. I called Aesthetic Derm and they fit me in within an hour and a half with Stephaine Cullinane. She was extremely sweet ,and…

Worst experience with a doctor by sfboy78 via Citysearch on 9/28/2006

I've never felt compelled to write on here, but here I go! This man acted like I was the biggest nuisance of his day. He barely listened to me speak, treated me like I was an idiot (I'm not, just a little ignorant), gave me a shot…

not great by amybh_21 via Citysearch on 8/17/2006

Judging from reviews, it seems tough to find a skilled, attentive dermatologist in SF. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this doctor. I had 2 visits (which took a lot of effort-on account of both being cancelled last possible minute…

The Other Reviewers Are Brain-Dead! by ggwalker via Citysearch on 7/11/2006

I found Dr. Tannenbaum to be cordial, pleasant, talkative, thorough and professional. Those who said he "Didn't shake my hand," probably didn't even extend their hand to start the process! They probably sat there like lumps. I've been…

Not recommended by krissie803 via Citysearch on 11/8/2005

Tanenbaum was not very inquisitive. He was not very open to hearing the types of medications i've taken in the past. When I began to describe such medications, he replied with, "You don't want to become reliant on those drugs." Then, he…

He's an average doctor, overall. by jazzcat93 via Citysearch on 5/3/2005

He shook my hand because I made the first move for the handshake-so I don't know about how he usually greets his patients. He seemed nice when he greeted me. He asked quite a few questions...I agree with the other review...he did not…

Spent no time/effort to know my condition by fryanboote via Citysearch on 4/9/2005

No smile, no handshake. Asked me only 3 questions. One of which was if he had seen me before. And he had my new patient form in his hand. He cut me off, didn't want to listen to my symptoms. Put me under the light for a second and he…

Highly Recommended by cwm32368 via Citysearch on 11/16/2004

Dr. Tannenbaum took a lot of time and care in treating me. I went in for an overall skin check-up and evaluation. He found several moles that were pre-cancerous that needed to be attended to. He was very patient, thorough and explained…
