Dissapointed with the food and service. Nothing special and don't order the new england clam chowder as there's hardly any clams, salty and awful to say the least. Go to flanigans instead.

I have been going to Southport since 1975 and loving every minute. It is a happy and fun place with good food. Love those wings and clams. I recommend this place highly.

Southport is a locals place located right off SE 17th St. Great raw bar options, but expect a wait. A dozen oysters on a busy night could take 20+ minutes. No liquor, just beer and wine. Service is pretty friendly.
