I worked with Dan Smits to buy a used Toyota, and it was a very good experience. I didn’t feel pressured at all, and he was patient and willing to work with me through all of the details, as i’m pretty particular. One thing i really enjoyed about this dealership is the open floor plan. You can somewhat overhear other negotiations going on around you, which means that salespeople aren’t going to be manipulative etc around other customers, not that i suspect they would be anyways. I was repeatedly asked if i needed food or water, and the whole experience was relaxed and very nice. Michael Macano worked with me through financing, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, walking me through the warranty and benefits at my disposal. I left with the car i wanted and affordable financing, having had interesting conversation along the way. Honestly it’s hard to find something to complain about. One thing to know is that they work with Equity 4 U to do biweekly payments to pay down your car earlier. This may or may not be what you want to do, but if you choose not to, you can cancel the service for no fee within 30 days. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Loved my experience, and i expect to go back.

The 2015 Jeep Patriot that I had blew the piston rings out of it and needed a new motor. There was no warranty or recalls left on it! I had already missed a week and a half of work when I walked into Kunes where I was greeted by Daniel Smits. He listened to my story and worked endlessly for hrs. to get me into something that was not only a great vehicle but made sure it fit into my budget! He had my best intrest at heart the whole time! He is truly a great guy and cares about the customer not just putting money in his pocket! I would definitely not only recommend him to family and friends but I will be only be coming to him for any future vehicle purchases!
