Leonard I Duchesney Jr. and a partner started a painting business back in June of 1971 with a run-down yellow station wagon, a few ladders from their back yard and some paint found in the basement - this was the beginning of Duchesney Painting. After two years together, Leonard's partner chose to part ways, leaving him on his own. With help from his father, Leonard Sr., and the idea to do the best possible job for the fairest price - a family business was born! "Keep it neat" and "keep it clean" has been our Company's simple focus and motto since the beginning.

Len hired his first employee, Don Gibbs in 1979, and Don is still with the Company today! In January 2004, Len retired from "running" the business and handed the reigns to his brother, Dave. Dave and his wife, Sue, continue to develop and enhance Len's successful painting business, making Duchesney Painting a recognizable and trusted name. Duchesney Painting has been serving the Cape Cod community for more than four decades, continuing the belief that Len envisioned back in 1971!
