Hardshore Distilling Company is a different kind of craft distillery. We are dedicated to creating spirits that enhance cocktails and bring distinction to any bar shelf that they sit upon. Our flagship product, Hardshore Original Gin, was created after years of tinkering and refining, to ensure the result was a completely original gin that would stand out and add something new toolset of any mixologist. The gin and tonic is a quintessential cocktail, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. We can help anyone discover delicious, simple-to-make gin cocktails that will delight the senses. Hardshore Original Gin’s herbal notes are painstakingly balanced to harmonize with the classics such as martinis, negronis and gimlets, but is wonderful when enjoyed with just an ice cube. Our tasting room is located on Washington Ave in Portland, Maine and is open from 2-8 pm Wednesday through Saturday and 12-6 pm on Sundays. Our tasting room staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the distillation process and will eagerly share their knowledge with anyone who wants to learn what we do... all while pouring delicious and unique gin cocktails.
