About us
David Patrick, the owner of Better Night Sleep Centers, is the fourth generation of his family in the mattress business. He has been providing southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, and western Kentucky a better quality of sleep for over 35 years.
David started Sleepy Hollow sleep center in 1975 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He introduced the Heartland to waterbeds later that same year, and in 1982, David opened a satellite store in Paducah, Kentucky.

Having a passion for the specialty mattress business, David opened his first Better Night Sleep Center in Farmington, MO in 1998. He expanded his reach in 2000, opening a store in Festus, Missouri, and he grew again in 2003 with the opening of the Poplar Bluff, Missouri location. In 1999, David expanded his product line to include Tempur-Pedic Sleep products. Today, Tempur-Pedic is America’s most highly recommended bed.
