Inconsiderate and Incompetent Nightmare by kelseymgarlock on 10/13/2017 **Warning Do Not Use This Company** The owner, Michael Hochstetler, attempted to replaced the springs on our garage door after we paid him with cash. During installation he incorrectly aligned the spring to the wall bracket and then overtightened the two halves of the center bearing housing causing them to crack. He then reconnected the door to the motor carriage in the wrong position causing the motor to appear to be failed. After trying to sell us a new lift motor he left us with a non-working garage door and said he would be back in two days. I personally fixed the motor, which he had jammed against the travel limit stops. We tried to get him to come back to repair the cracked component for over a month. He repeatedly had excuses including work, travel, and illness and ultimately failed to respond. We ended up having to have someone else come fix it. It took them a 10$ part and 1 hour labor for the fix. Do not do business with Michael Hochstetler. He does not have a basic understanding of garage door mechanics and is unbelievably inconsiderate and disrespectful to his customers. He will give you a low price and make a good deal if you pay cash, but you will regret using him.
