Venkata Marella, MD

Venkata Marella, MD, is a skilled urologist serving patients throughout Northern New Jersey. His offices in Clifton and Wayne, New Jersey, are ideally located for his patients throughout Northern New Jersey. Dr. Marella is a member of the esteemed New Jersey Urology group. He individually specializes in many aspects of general urology, but focuses on robotic surgical techniques.
Dr. Marella earned his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India. He completed his research fellowship and residencies in both surgery and urology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. While there, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons awarded him Outstanding Laparo-endoscopic Resident.
Before joining the team at New Jersey Urology in August 2015, he practiced in Easton, Pennsylvania, for more than eight years. Today, Dr. Marella is a member of the American Urological Association and is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also a published author in various journals and an accomplished presenter at multiple conferences.
His patients appreciate his expertise and unique approach to collaborative care. Dr. Marella believes in educating his patients, helping them understand their personalized treatment plans to empower them during the treatment process.
Dr. Marella routinely treats a variety of neurological conditions, including bladder problems, kidney stones, prostate cancer, and urinary tract infections. He also focuses on general men’s health matters.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Marella enjoys spending as much quality time as possible with his family. He speaks three languages: English, Hindi, and Telugu.
