Our company is an insurance claim driven business and, while we occasionally accept bid work, typically, our strength is in working with your insurance carrier to forensically approve damage claims to allow our company to professionally and efficiently install new roofing systems on your commercial buildings.

Approximately 10 years ago, we realized there was a pattern in the commercial roofing industry where insurance companies were denying damage claims without a full damage inspection. AMSI began a process of forensically proving up claims in a way that other roofing contractors had not previously used. We began an association with professionals in the fields of engineering and forensics to test samples from roofs we knew had been hit by large hail, wind damage or ice damming. We have also partnered with a specialized legal firm to handle denied claims with the forensic proof our team can provide to them. This has given our clients the added benefit of having a full team of experts to carry the approval process to a successful end.

Once the process of forensic prove up was perfected by our group, it allowed our company professionals to work along with these experts in their various fields to actually prove the damage by pinpointing when the hail hit and to show how the damage affected the roofing system. Most insurance companies had not had exposure to our process and they were able to learn from our procedures to discover that most damage isn’t visible to the top layer of the roof. These procedures had never previously been taught in any academic environment. And so began a new era in commercial roofing which enabled our company to get insurance claims paid by carriers who had previously denied coverage because they simply did not know the damage was done.
