About Shafer Services Plus Since 1988, Shafer Services Plus has been dedicated to serving the San Antonio community with exceptional heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions. Building on a rich family history in San Antonio that dates back to 1884, the company has become a leader in the development and maintenance of the city’s public and private infrastructure. Throughout our journey, the Shafer Family has proudly contributed to the growth of San Antonio by installing plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems for many of the city’s most iconic buildings, such as the Hilton Palacio del Rio, Majestic Theatre, Commerce Plaza, and the Metropolitan General Hospital, now known as the Methodist Metropolitan Hospital.
