In Short
Located on its historic namesake (now known as Central Avenue), the diner beckons people back to the time of bebop and soda pop. The fully stocked jukebox has all the classics you'd expect. This joint serves creamy… Read Full Editorial

Good food, cool atmosphere, horribly long wait for food. by cmw78 via Citysearch on 2/4/2011
The 66 Diner has good food and a great nostalgic family atmosphere. It is also very busy. Avoid going there during prime time at all costs! We waited for over forty minutes for our food and had to finally leave to catch a show. We were…
Nice atmosphere by ellen b via Insider Pages on 1/25/2009
I was here for a late dinner. This is on the old route 66, and at least inside the diner you get that old-time feeling, or at least what as a younger person you imagine that old-time feeling to be. Yes, the milkshakes are good, and the…
1960's Diner by Simone C via Insider Pages on 11/12/2008
What a fun, interesting place at which to have a meal. Decor is from the 1960's, and food is good home cooked meals. The milk shakes are delicious! They have a great display of Pez dispensers.
Good American food by Ken C via Insider Pages on 11/12/2008
The milkshakes here were wonderful as well as all of the food. The prices were good and the staff was excellent. We had a larger party and they got us seated, food ordered and then served quickly.
Love this place! by N V S via Insider Pages on 10/21/2008
Set in the 60s the interior is fun and the food is great! They don't have a large menu but you are bound to find something you like and the milk shakes are superb!
Best malts by alwzl84ad8 via Citysearch on 7/30/2006
The staff is very friendly and will customise anything you order. They still use real powdered malt, instead of the tasteless malt syrup.
Not Merely Nostalgia by amatrixpueri via Citysearch on 7/15/2006
One day I went into 66 Diner with the intention of, in my own words, 'eating light' (my appetite was much more voracious back then). I ordered a root beer float and an 'appetizer' of chili cheese fries. All dreams of a light lunch…
Fun place! by Maile B. via Judy's Book on 8/19/2005
This is a fun place for a night out with friends, family, or even dates. The food is awesome and their milkshakes are unbeatable! They have so many flavors to choose from! The décor is modeled after a fifties diner. There is a jukebox,…
Could be-Would be - Might be better by OweenaCo via Citysearch on 1/29/2003
I have eaten there several times. The food is O.K. The place is clean. The help could use some training and it isn't a 5 star restraunt.

The Most Malt! by sharylz via Citysearch on 8/8/2002
66 Diner has always had the greatest shakes and malts. One burger, fries, and their large malt will be all you can handle. Next time; forget the burger and fries, and just enjoy the wonderful malt.
