Great!!!!! by Deborah K on 2/29/2016

There was 7 of us total and coming at a busy time we thought we wouldn't get seats but BOOM, people were checking out and we got in quick. Our waitress Alex was amazing! On point. Took care of us all. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. She was amazing. We ordered the Caesar salad and grill cheese. It wasn't the best. Where we were seating, the cooks are right in front of you, so he would crack jokes here and there and it was really cool. We had a great time! Was very happy about our experience

Thank you again Alex!!!!

I think a lot of people that are told to eat at F Street aren't told it's a bar, yes the food is very good but there is no hostess and you wait to seat yourself ( first come first served) If people waiting to get a table can't keep track…

My Review by redst9r via Citysearch on 9/11/2015

I came to F Street for lunch and ordered a turkey sandwich. it was good. Not the best I;ve ever had, but very good. Waitress was friendly, kind, serviced us with a genuine smile. They had cheese on the corner of the bar to help yourself. I…

Terrible service but good "eats" by Hanksta via Citysearch on 11/10/2011

Sorry for the lenghty post -- Lunch, 11:20 a.m., 11-10-11 As expected the food was very tasty, prepared in a timely manner & priced reasonably enough. ( I had calamari, my co-worker had the French onion soup.) I'd give 4 stars for the…

Good Food, Crap Bartenders by AlaskanAdam via Citysearch on 1/11/2011

I like the food. Drinks are overpriced, service mediocre. TRUE STORY: one bartender lady - never seen her before - left me hanging for my first drink of the night for about fifteen minutes, helping several walk-up newcomers before me. So…

Great Food, great service, great location by opinionsarelikeassholes via Citysearch on 12/1/2009

Good times, good food and good people! Go check it out and form your own opinion.\r If you're treated like an a**hole, you probably are one.

Quit Whining by Letz via Citysearch on 5/16/2009

I stumbled onto this page while researching the F. St. Station company history. I have read review after review on this site saying the F. St. Station is an unsafe place to dine. It is a Bar in downtown Anchorage! While the increase in…

Still the best food by woxof via Citysearch on 11/27/2008

Lot of talk lately about bad things going on at F. St. I decided to go see for myself, as I have been away from Anchorage for a few years, and now back to stay. I found the food to still be some of the best around. The service was nothing…

Horrible Place To Eat, Expensive, EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE by Vincepapale via Citysearch on 11/17/2008

Horrible food - small portions & I got sick right after leaving this place. Literally blew chow as I walked down the street. The health depart ment should be called.\r \r The staff were very unfriendly - food came cold after 40 minutes. …

Terrible Customer Service at F St. Station! by PeteX via Citysearch on 10/14/2008

I am a pilot and have stopped going to F Street Station. Their staff are rude, pretending to be overworked while lazily chatting among themselves. Terrible service! \r \r If you want a fun place to go, Humpy's is it! Great place, good…

Avoid by Qwertqwert via Citysearch on 10/13/2008

A real crappy establishment with subpar management and horrible service. Waitresses have attitudes and bouncers can't keep control of the place. A hazard and security risk to all visitors. I would rather spend my evening at wafle house.

?tferg99? said: "I have never understood why the pilots hang out there"\r \r I am one of those who "used" to spend a lot of time and money in the place -and it is simple. Our layover hotel is right next-door at the Hilton. \r \r After mind…

Dangerous, hostile to visitors by flyer170 via Citysearch on 9/25/2008

I've been going to F Street Station for the last five years and until recently it has been a nice, welcoming watering hole for both locals and out-of-towners. However, the service has declined, the staff is at best indifferent but more…

Employees only like tough locals by doug1550 via Citysearch on 9/25/2008

Dangerous place at night. They seem to cater to the Meth crowd. The staff is as unfriendly as the night patrons. This place used to be a good hangout, but now you are better off spending your money at any one of the other bars in town.

Aviod unless you want to be smacked by one of the hired help. by Remf via Citysearch on 9/25/2008

Until recently the service has been pretty good. There has been a definite change in the attitude of both the staff and management. I won't be going there anytime soon. Make sure you travel in packs.

Avoid it by tferg99 via Citysearch on 9/25/2008

There's a reason you don't see many locals there. I am one, and I've been in there three times in eight years. That was plenty. F Street has always had an unfriendly atmosphere (and reputation), our friends were asked to leave once…

Be Careful... by UPSer via Citysearch on 9/24/2008

Use extreme caution if visiting the F Street at night. While it has enjoyed a long standing rep as THE place for local and transiting airline pilots, it's recently begun a downward spiral by catering to a young and rough crowd looking…

Go Early by gwaltney53 via Citysearch on 3/30/2008

This food at this place is really, really good. Certainly the best pub food I have ever had. Some items were simply the best ever. I have eaten everything on the menu at least twice. There are a broad variety of choices. Steak to…

Super by montemarcus via Citysearch on 7/28/2005

If you are looking for great food, full menu, reasonable prices, this is the place to visit. The staff atmosphere is very friendly. Service is No. 1.

Size doesn't matter by sonicreducer via Citysearch on 1/16/2003

Nice bar but pretty small. The place fills up quick so you have to get there early. Good place to get a drink and talk with friends if you can find a place to sit.
