Curtis Contracting is owned and operated by Damian Curtis. Damian’s fascination with construction began at an early age and he has always tried to learn as much as he can about the industry and how to do things properly. Damian had some excellent mentors growing up – men in the industry who allowed Damian to shadow them on construction projects. He learned a lot as he watched them ply their craft. The knowledge and skills he gained from these mentors has stayed with him and has been a valuable part of his education.

He started collecting tools at a young age and started doing odd jobs for family and friends to apply what he was learning. As his skills developed, he developed a keen eye for detail and quality, which has solidified into a determination to always do things the right way and not cut corners.

Over the years Damian has developed a large set of skills. Because of excellent mentoring in many facets of construction, Damian has acquired knowledge and skills in every trade. This is an uncommon trait in the industry – not many contractors have skills in all the trades so they have to rely on the knowledge and expertise of sub contractors. Because of the skills Damian possesses, he can effectively manage crews on large jobs better because he knows when things are being done right and can assure that quality workmanship is maintained throughout the project.

Damian has experience with projects of all sizes – from small repairs to large residential renovations, and commercial jobs. Damian has spent years working hard, gaining the skills and experience necessary to get a contractors license, which he received in November 2017.
