AAS Physicians - Daveshni Kumar, MD

Dr. Daveshni Kumar was born and raised in the Fiji Islands before moving to Elk Grove, California in the early 2000s. She attended the University of California, Davis where she obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Neurology, Physiology and Behavior along with a minor in Native American Studies. She then obtained her Doctorate of Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Kumar completed her General Surgery residency at the University of Arizona, Phoenix with the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. Dr. Kumar is a board certified general surgeon and a member of the American College of Surgeons. Her professional interests lie in acute care surgery, gallbladder, hernia and breast surgery, endocrine diseases, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Kumar is open for appointments at the Mesa and Scottsdale office locations.
