I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism.

A few years ago, we hired Jack the Roofer to redo our roof. After a summer storm this year, a significant number of shingles blew off. Since the work was under warranty, I have been trying for nearly six months to get the repairs addressed.

I have called repeatedly and sent multiple follow-ups — including a sixth follow-up today. Instead of offering to resolve the issue, Jack repeatedly asked me if I “had a life” and whether I was “still in college.” Not only is completely inappropriate, it is entirely irrelevant when a customer is simply requesting repair service on their home.

Most concerning, he now claims that the roof was repaired. However, we were never contacted about any service visit, were never provided proof that anyone came to the property, received no photos of the completed work, and were never sent a bill or invoice. He is now telling us to get on the roof ourselves to prove whether or not repairs were completed. That is not only unreasonable but also unsafe.

I’ve owned multiple homes for over the past 15 years and have worked with many contractors during that time. While experiences vary, this has been by far the worst in terms of professionalism, accountability, and communication. I cannot recommend avoiding this company enough. From the start the install went terribly my with them using the wrong pair on the trim and having to reinstall most of the bordering shingles because they never confirmed with us leading to a long drawn out install. Now only a few years later we are already having quality issues with the installation.

Unprofessional, unacceptable behavior,
on every level, inferior quality. Avoid at all cost.
