I believe every patient deserves the same level of care and attention I would want for my own family. I rely on evidence-based medicine but tailor my care to each patient as an individual. As a physician-scientist, I develop new chemical tools to better understand the mechanisms of cardiometabolic disease. In the clinic, I enjoy caring for patients across the spectrum of cardiovascular health—from intensive care to prevention—and I use multiple complementary strategies to guide diagnosis and treatment.
