I love Karl Strauss! The food is excellent and the beer is great. I do like the menu selection a little bit better at the downtown location, but the food is always good.

This is a nice, casual dining restaurant. The food is pretty good but the reason to go is for the beer. I like to get the beer sampler so you can try a selection of the Karl Strauss brews.

Karl Strauss Brewery, located on Armardo St. in Carlsbad, is a great place. Good food. Good drinks. The interior decor is pleasing.Many choices of beers.Recommended.

I've eaten at this restaurant which is on the hill at the top of the Flower Fields. The food was quite good, and the service was good as well. I felt it was a little expensive compared to other casual restaurants.
