Don’t waste your money by Denise Mitchell on 5/15/2023 We hired Community General Contractor to paint the interior of our house, install doors to the den, and add a mantle to our fireplace. The painting was mediocre at best. They didn’t remove switch plates and paint behind them. They even painted around a remote control for the fan rather than lift it out of its cradle and paint. The accent wall in the dining room was poorly painted with the lighter original color showing through the darker color. I am still cleaning paint off the floor and furniture where the areas were not adequately covered. The stain on the mantle is hit and miss, especially on the top. The doors were installed late and then in a big hurry, resulting in shoddy work. The hole for the doorknob was cut too big, and then filler was used to fill the hole, but it was sloppy and unprofessional. In addition, the paint on the door shows a hurry-up job. The paint is rough and splotchy, not to mention that they failed to paint the entire door frame. The best work done on the entire project was the cabinets: kitchen, hallway, and master bathroom. They are beautiful, but then they contracted out that job to a master painter. I DO NOT recommend them.
