Since 1981, Doria's Haus of Pizza has been the premier Italian Restaurant in Costa Mesa. 37 years later we still have the best pizza in town. As a family owned restaurant we pride ourselves in our food and we want to share that with our community. We offer great pizza, great pasta and sandwiches, and plenty of beer and wine to enjoy while you watch some baseball on any of our TV's. Try some of our Daily Specials for lunch! We're grateful for the support over the years and for making Doria's Haus of Pizza the Home of Flavor.

Great, homey place by TheBC via Citysearch on 7/17/2009

First of all, I'm surprised a couple other's haven't had a good experience at the Haus. This restaurant is very good, and very reasonable. This is not Ti Amo's or Cucina Alessa--it's terrific old-school Italian traditional, at 1990's…

Rude manager by harmonicaman via Citysearch on 4/4/2009

The manager, Holly, one Saturday night, made me, a paying, repeat customer, feel very unwelcome. She chewed out an employee named Aaron in front of me, for simply being friendly to me while I was outside waiting for my take-out pizza. He…

WORST ITALIAN sketchy place in costa mesa. by CMlocal via Citysearch on 1/20/2009

THIS PLACE has the WORST!!! Service and they over charge you. Their daily "Specials " say one thing and they charge you normal price. STEER CLEAR of this place, unless you want to be attended to by bad attitude and overpay for your meal.

What were those two reviewers talking about? by SKYKING607 via Citysearch on 1/8/2009

Two previous reviewers rated only a single star. They must have this place confused with someplace else. One complained about their pizza not being cut all the way through. Holy mackerel.....I believe that everyone has had a pizza like…

Great Mom & Pop Italian Food place!!! Yummy! by Anna M via Insider Pages on 9/4/2008

This little restaurant is tucked away in a corner, so it is a word of mouth that you would have to find out! I am telling everyone that you MUST try this little Italian restaurant. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is SUPER…

Good stuff! by criticteamusa via Citysearch on 7/30/2008

I have been here many times, and not once was I disappointed. I have had their pastas and pizza. The pasta is not as good as Olive Gardens, nor is their Pizza as good as Round Table. However, for the price and the service, it is worth…

Amazing pizza by mzdpopescu via Citysearch on 1/25/2008

this pizza was awsome!!!! hot, cheezy, flavorful, and generously topped!! the slices were cut all the way through and the slices were evenly cut. i totally recomment it to anyone, especially with a side of ranch!!

Homey and good by debmarst1 via Citysearch on 10/24/2007

I live near and have eaten at Haus for years. I love their pizza. They put lots of toppings on their pizza and the wait staff are always really nice. It's casual and I always see neighbors. They support their community, so during…

Yuk... by gaddyjam via Citysearch on 9/17/2007

I paid $13.09 for the worse takeout pizza ever. First they didn't even take the time to cut it all the way. Only the top and the edges of the pizza were cut, not the bottom crust of the pizza. Talk about being lazy... They also didn't…

Very decent pizza, but nothing to write home about. by bdocili via Citysearch on 3/27/2007

I found this list on CitySearch that said that Haus of Pizza was the number 1 pizza as chosen by the fans. So, since I work just 1 mile from them, I immediately drove down there for lunch. We ordered a small Pepperoni pizza. It arrived…

YUMM!! by cocotheslug via Citysearch on 1/6/2007

Now, I'm no pizza connoisseur ... but when I ate a slice of thier pizza ... I died and went to heaven. 100% worth all the calories. Watch out for the big lines on weekend. \r \r Did I forget to say YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Most Overrated Pizza in the World by winnih via Citysearch on 12/9/2006

So I tried their pizza and pasta (with those pink sauce), and I am left with bitter disappointment. The pizza is nothing like Chicago or New York style. In fact, it has no style at all. It's just some canned stuff being placed on top of a…

BEST MOM AND POP RESTAURANT by veronica3114511 via Citysearch on 7/18/2006

Not the best but very very good by harv1457 via Citysearch on 5/16/2006

A working man's pie loaded with cheese sauce and toppings. Very good pizza. I highly recommend this place.

You'd think you were in Chicago or New York by anonomous1 via Citysearch on 2/17/2006

This is the best pizza ever. Who would have though little Orange County held this secret. It's also a fun date spot because it is super casual and laid back. I love getting take out -- and they have great specials almost every night of…

more today than yesterday by sunconure via Citysearch on 1/10/2006

This place has the best scungillis!!! My petite find and I have been coming here for 3 years, and we love it!!!

Great pizza by Katey L via Insider Pages on 11/23/2005

The pizza here is great, it's very cheesy with good flavor. The people are friendly. I'd sugget ordering by phone if you do takeout or it takes forever. They tend to get pretty busy too. Check it out!

Y-U-M!!! by Ren B. via Judy's Book on 10/12/2005

It's a favorite of my coworkers! They introduced me to the great cuisine and friendly, personable staff and I've been hooked ever since. Reasonable prices and extensive menu. I've had their pizza and chicken fettucini alfredo, which is…

LIKE A HOME COOKED MEAL. WITHOUT THE MESS by ELVIA M. via Judy's Book on 8/10/2005

Haus of Pizza in Costa Mesa is like eating at home without the mess. The food tastes soooo home made you would swear your favorite aunt is in the kitchen cooking up her family favority lasagna. The pizzas are to die for. Haus of Pizza has…

Pizza and Pink Sauce! by 3047 via Citysearch on 7/12/2005

I've been going to this great little family-style restaurant for years and not only is the pizza great they also give you the option of delicious "Pink Sauce" on their "to die for" pastas. It's a combination of their red tomato sauce and…
