SHOP FOR A NEW COMPANY by bella kay on 12/17/2020 I had the DISpleasure of corresponding with Patrick Prendiville during an entire afternoon to clarify insurance requirements conveyed to my HOA. Due to a poorly worded letter, my own insurance company had a hard time identifying what the requirements were. To make things easier for all parties, I played middleman in trying to get everyone on the same page. All this effort on my part and at the end of the day, I had no resolve. To the contrary, it spun out of control -- and fast. The email responses from Patrick were vague and unconducive in respect to compliance. When I made known my frustrations in having wasted so much time and energy, stemming from poor communications, Patrick just still couldn't make it right. Instead, he made it EVEN worse. He called me afterhours to confront me about my feedback. Yes, I say "confront", because instead of making an effort to understand the customer, I was met with, "you sound like you've got a lot to say..." in a tone that was anything but professional. In fact, this was a spiteful, malicious tone dripping with disdain. It's been a long day of unfruitful emails, I get it, we're all tired. I tried my best to remain calm as I tried to explain my perspective while he proceeded with interruptions, a condescending tone, and belittling remarks. When he started to raise his voice and further exhibit unacceptable behavior from any working professional let alone, an executive, I terminated the call. This sounds nothing like a man who should be representing a reputable name such as Farmers, or even running a namesake companyOne thing I can pass on to you that may be the only thing accurate at this point, is Patrick's recommendation to me: "shop for a new company."
