Despite being situated in Plaza El Segundo, a sprawling South Bay shopping center, this branch of Tim McCune and Pete Truxaw's chain distinguishes itself with its inviting Craftsman architecture and American cuisine. Welcoming outdoor fire… Read Full Editorial

A very nice meeting place - warm, friendly atmosphere and good service, reasonable prices. The only negative is the lack of hot wings on the menu selection - a must for sports viewing.

Nice food by Edward P via Insider Pages on 8/19/2009
Nice fairly upscale place with decent prices. I don't think it really has figured out what it wants to be. The menu is fairly kid friendly, but has a fairly adult atmosphere.
Always a pleasure by Ja101 via Citysearch on 1/12/2009
Food is wonderful. The best of the best. Go early, though. It gets popular. The scenery is great and it is very romantic. Great experience for anyone.
Overrated - Save your $$$ by loraneavv via Citysearch on 12/8/2008
I've been to more than my share of restaurants in LA and I must admit this was the most disappointing.\r
First of all, if you can find this place - congratulations! I don't know if it's the fault of Salt Creek or the city, but they should…
Nice upscale dining by Sherry D via Insider Pages on 9/8/2008
Salt Creek Grille is a wonderful upscale dining experience. The food is out of this world, the service is great. You have to try the deserts, creme brulee and souffle, to die for. I cant say enough about this place.
Fantastic Food and Atmosphere by Tarasha D via Insider Pages on 6/18/2008
This Salt Creek Grille is in the new shopping area in El Segundo. It is new and very beautiful. The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The atmosphere is very hip and eclectic. The prices are good for the quality.
Overall, great atmosphere for friends by crtjfe via Citysearch on 5/8/2008
I have been here for lunch as well as happy hour a few times and have enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Though like any restaraunt, there are bad days. One lunch, we had poor service. But that was because the poor girl serving the patio…
Save your money. by rllr via Citysearch on 5/6/2008
The restaurant itself is really nice and clean. The patio and fire pits are beautiful and a great place to chat with friends. The service was decent, it was a Monday night so not too busy. We had a group of friends for a birthday dinner. I…

this is the most disappointing restaurant experience i've had to date. there were three of us in our party. we came in on a saturday night so a wait was expected. a few minutes after we came, a couple of ladies came in and put their name…
Garlic Fries anyone? by therealdiningdiva via Citysearch on 3/8/2008
Cool place to snuggle & chat by the fire with that special someone. If on a budget, try the chesseburger and "garlic fries"...Yum!
No wait time, but................ by ckofca via Citysearch on 11/13/2007
We went to the Salt Creek Grille hoping that it would be a good place to eat. We were very disappointed. The appetizer was ok, as were the drinks. Considering the price of the drinks ($10 each) they should have been great. The pork…
Mesquite-grilled meats highlight the offerings of the El Segundo branch of this upmarket small bicoastal chain. by Andrew Rosenblum via Citysearch on 7/30/2007
In Short
The large airy space and a hearty menu define this cute eatery located in the high-end Plaza El Segundo mall. In the early evening, an after-work crowd gathers around a lengthy communal table in the bar area, as a small…
Very Disappointing by travelyn via Citysearch on 6/30/2007
I couldnt wait for this restaurant to open locally since I had been to the one in Dana Point several times. It was very expensive for lunch and not particularly good. I had crabcakes ($17 for three very small) and some potatoes. The…
Not worth the high prices by zouri via Citysearch on 6/23/2007
Very disappointing for a meal that cost $120--that got us two drinks, and appetizer, a soup for him and two entrees. The meat was fine but for those prices I think that frozen vegetables are unacceptable, as is undercooked rice. Seafood…
