Welcome to Sunny Side Kitchen, where we’re all about panini — cheesy, grilled, made-to-order sandwiches featuring the best local ingredients we can find. We start with artisan sourdough by San Diego bakery, Bread & Cie, to build delicious, homemade signatures like Tuscan Chicken, Pesto Chicken, and our Vegetarian Mediterranean Panini.

But wait — we know you can’t live on bread alone. So our menu incorporates small-batch drinks, like fresh lemonade, San Diego’s women-owned Howling Moon Kombucha, and an array of hot and iced coffees using beans from Carlsbad-based Origen Coffee Roasters. We have satisfying salads, a daily rotation of homemade soups, plus a crustless quiche that’s to die for!

We also pride ourselves on offering several gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. And finally, if Mom says it’s okay, we’ll serve you a dozen of our famous, homemade, bite-sized cookies.
