Anila C. Thampy, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and owner of Spectrum Health Medical Spa: Anila Thampy, MD in Fresno, California. After spending 12 years working as an emergency room physician, Dr. Thampy opened the aesthetic center and wellness spa, providing noninvasive aesthetic and laser treatments.

After earning her medical degree at Madras Medical College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Dr. Thampy relocated to the United States to complete her residency training at UCSF in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Thampy served on many committees at local hospitals, including medical directorship and department chairperson. She’s trained medical students, residents, and nurse practitioners and served as an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics through the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) pediatric residency training program in Fresno. 

With more than 25 years of medical practice in central California, Dr. Thampy has earned an outstanding reputation and was ranked Top Doc multiple times. She also received the Compassionate Doctor Recognition award in 2012.
