Gary began his Real Estate career in 2012 after a successful 30 career in the Financial Service industry in San Francisco. A Trader on the Pacific Stock Exchange, he served on self-regulatory Exchange committees and boards, and was elected to 2 terms on the NYSE Exchange’s Board of Directors.

A lifetime Marin County resident and a 5th generation San Franciscan family. He and his wife Anne are both born and raised in Marin and have resided in their first home in San Anselmo since 1988. Gary loves to garden, ski, and he has extensive knowledge of hiking and biking trails in our beloved backyard of Mt Tam. He enjoys community building projects and working with “future Marinites”.

Gary Newman strongly believes that a proactive Marin Association of REALTORS is key to create a cohesive voice between Realtors, Cities/Municipalities and most importantly, Marin property owners, and is honored to advocate with the MAR.
