Long Beach Coffee & Tea

Long Beach Coffee & Tea was established in 2018, by Tom West and Shannon Francis, with a philanthropic vision to create change. Both being involved in fundraising and volunteering in the past, we wanted something that we could create together and run responsibly. We host veteran meetings in the shop twice a month and bring in resources they may need. If we come across someone experiencing homelessness that wants assistance, we help them gain access to the appropriate resources within the community. But ultimately, this shop was created as the first step in making an impact on the world in a positive way. By opening our roasting and distribution facility we are able to create a foundation that will support transgender youth experiencing crisis, education for their families and loved ones and fight against discrimination for LGBTQ+ world-wide.

While there is certainly no shortage of coffee shops, we strive to make ours a unique and welcoming environment for all. We recognize that everyone has a name, you are not defined by your social status, your circumstances, your past, your illness, your living situation, your sexuality, etc. We enjoy meeting everyone who walks through our door.
