This is one of the best Mexican restaurants out there. by Harry S via Insider Pages on 4/1/2015

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants out there, I kid you not, if you don’t like Mexican food, go here and I will guarantee you that you will love it afterwards.

Great for Lunch by mskillz via Citysearch on 3/25/2005

Not the best mexican food I've had but great for a quick meal at lunch time

Simple Mexican Fare by JJones via Citysearch on 8/15/2002

This is not a fancy Mexican Restaurant. This is a small family owned place. The food is very good.

Average Mex Food. by goodnpleanty via Citysearch on 7/26/2002

This place is not "Authenitc", if by that you mean traditional dishes, sure. Traditional burritos, enchiladas and stuff are served there. But to me, authentic is something that my best friend's grandma would spend all day making. Now…

Cheap and authentic by BObermiller_Citysearch via Citysearch on 7/15/2002

Had the chile relleno burrito and a coke for less than $5. The food was very good and the menu features many authentic dishes not found at most Americanized Mexican restaurants. The service was friendly but a little slow.

Not Like my Momma's cook'n! by CrazyHappy via Citysearch on 7/12/2002

Very good food. Not like my momma makes but it's a good place to go out to lunch to.

It's a Good by Bigfrank via Citysearch on 7/10/2002

They food is really good tastes home made. the prices are decent it is a little place but those are usually the best

Hole in the wall good. by souperdave via Citysearch on 7/3/2002

This place seems to be family run and has always been good everytime I have gone. Of course, I have only ever gotten the carnitas and the fish tacos there. Both are always good. Wash it down with some Horchata and it is a good overall…

this place is garbage! by clunkified via Citysearch on 7/1/2002

just because a place is a hole in the wall does not make it good! the food here is mediocre at best if not terrible at best. tastless beans, fatty chicken, greasy burritos, slower than molasses service...give me a break. a taco truck makes…

Good but not the best by mrjoeusa via Citysearch on 7/1/2002

This place is good, but I have had better. Come on, this is LA, the competition for great Mexican food is tough! Some of the reviews here are a little hard on poor little Romeros. Give them a break, they are not nearly as bad as some of…

Don't blink.......... by yokoromo via Citysearch on 6/27/2002

or you'll miss it. This tiny Mexican restaurant doesn't stand out but their food sure does. I recently found this place near my work and boy am I glad. There are not many GOOD restaurants to choose from and I was getting tired of…

authentic mexican food by oalon via Citysearch on 6/27/2002

This place has great authentic mexican food that's cheap!!!! The service is super friendly...it's kind of like a "hole-in-the-all" atmosphere, which i actually liked. Great place for lunch!!!

The best whole on the wall for Mex. food by gvasquez via Citysearch on 6/21/2002

I have been to this little restaurant many times and the food is always fresh and tasty. Service is cool too. I recommend you go and try it....and you be the judge of their service and food.

Small space, huge burritos by AndreaLoera_Citysearch via Citysearch on 6/18/2002

This small space gets packed at lunch so plan on ordering out. The food seems to be fresh, albeit a little bland, but the service is really slow. Chorizo and egg burrito is worth a try.

Mediocre by ricecrazy via Citysearch on 6/18/2002

I don't understand why this place is so crowded - grocery-store standard tortilla chips, weak salsa. I had the two chicken enchilada plate, which came with only a little bit of flavor and some green liquid that sort of tasted like…

Not keeping it Real by geemoney via Citysearch on 6/19/2002

This place looks like they know what's up, but I did not find this place to be that great. Yeah, they had allot of OG's representing, but the food came soft. Most of the torrilla and chips are store bought. The food is greasy and that not…

Excellent Mexican Food by Party_Bear via Citysearch on 6/14/2002

This is a little hole in the wall place with great Mexican food. Very cheap too. The seating's kind of limited and it can get a bit crowded around the lunchtime rush, but it's worth it.

Hole-In-The-Wall by Wench via Citysearch on 6/14/2002

This place has the best authentic Mexican food in Korea Town that I want to keep it to myself and not let anyone know about it. Mmmm...Yummy Shrimp in Garlic! Please disregard this rating and don't go there because I always want to be able…

hard to find but worth it by johnb via Citysearch on 6/14/2002

I must have walked by Romero's 20 times before realizing it was there. Actually someone told me it was there. This is good Mexican food with servings large enough to satisfy most appetites. Try the pork taco, quite tasty.
