Excellent service! by Monique Alvarado on 6/17/2020

This is a neighborhood bar me and my friends grew up with, back when we were too young to use our own ID's. Not much has changed, really. Still has same dim red lights, divey vibes and a mixed crowd. The poor reviews here are from bridge and tunnel people or LA transplants who have no idea how and why they made it to the east side. Drinks are cheap, but sometimes it's crowded here. before sundown, they've got great happy hour specials.

Excellent service! by Tanya Guerrero on 6/17/2020

Great exquisite cocktails and prices are ok considering it is LA. Parking is available on the main strip. Tables and the decor has so much wonder to explore. It is dark and bathrooms are pretty gross but again it is LA. The crowd was super sexy and people make out like they were in Brazil. Great DJ set because we came over on a Thursday night and ppl were out and about. Looking forward in returning soon.

This tiny restaurant in a not-too-inviting section of East Hollywood was the rage of the artist community (notably David Hockney) when it first opened and made the reputation of chef Toribio Prado. While he's gone on to other pursuits, his… Read Full Editorial

VALET PARKING IS TROUBLE !! AVOID !!! by rigo5000 via Citysearch on 12/18/2010

DONT' GO!! I went on 12-17-10; I had trouble with the valet staff. My car was fine and after receiving it I had a flat tire. It was raining and had the radio did not notice until got home (3 blocks away) I went back in friend's car to…

Robbed at Cha Cha Chas by micheals via Citysearch on 4/10/2010

My experience at Cha Cha Cha's was an unfortunate one. While I enjoyed the dinner, the valet took my ipod, sunglasses, and a vintage camera (which was in a suitcase in my trunk) from my car. I didn't realize it until the next day and,…

Ipod Stolen by Valet by foodie889765 via Citysearch on 4/10/2010

Saw the review below. I had a similar experience with the valet on a Thursday night there. I hope the management sees this and changes their valet company. I shouldn't have left my ipod in the car, but the valet also shouldn't have…

Great food, great atmosphere by ritzfitz via Citysearch on 1/2/2010

I love this place. I've only been there twice but I've already found my favorite dish and drink; Jerk pork platter with a mojito. Soooo good. The prices are a little high, but I'd definitely recommend this place to go with a group of…

Authentic! by Hotord via Citysearch on 3/7/2009

Love it! Since I moved to LA, there are very few places that are different and have personality. I have taken many poeple here for dinner and they all love it! Great food, great sangria and the best swordfish I have ever had!

Great J Chicken in a not so obvious location by PhatLadySweets via Citysearch on 7/2/2008

I went to Cha Cha Cha for the first time about a week ago, and just loved the J Chicken. Anyway I almost passed up the building, as I thought it was a run down shack, it almost looks abandoned. My family and I (husband & child) walk in…

Decent by archageek via Citysearch on 4/1/2008

The reservations were not on the books (I had called and changed it days a few days prior). We were seated promptly at a very small table that seemed to be for 3 people not 5. We ordered Sopes de Pollo and Guacamole with dirty chips as…

HORRIBLE customer service... by foodluvr_123 via Citysearch on 11/6/2007

HORRIBLE experience - Cha Cha Cha has terrible customer service! I had a reservation for a large party, and they cancelled the reservation without informing me because I didn't return their 4:30pm same-day confirmation call. Instead of…

Feels like your in a little Town in South America! by toyboy97 via Citysearch on 11/5/2007

Walking into this place is like walking into another country. The walls are covered with abstract Spanish art and Figurines of Angels, and Mother Guadalupe. The red lighting makes it very eccentric. Best dish to try for first timers is…

A fun eating experience by troyact via Citysearch on 10/10/2007

This is a medium priced caribbean restaurant. The ambiance is great, it flows with the great island music. Everything on the menu is excellent. My favorite is the salmon. You can't leave without having a pitcher of the best sangria in…

laid-back atmosphere, colorful food and surroundings, and not to mention the taste.... by yessiwhy via Citysearch on 8/29/2007

I go here every other week as a girls night out with my girls, there are four of us..I have tried everything on the menu, its all good.\r \r The boys that serve are very nice, and very charming. The sangria, just keep it pouring, the…

Not Authentic Caribbean, But Nobody in LA Knows or Cares Anyway by globalhobo07 via Citysearch on 4/30/2007

This place is gorgeous. Forget that the surrounding neighborhood is nondescript--the interior is carnivalesque and cute. Sangria is good, service is fine, and the food is tasty for L.A. pseudo-Caribbean catered to the Anglo palate. The…

Big Group, Great Service by phoenixarising via Citysearch on 3/21/2007

I understand that it might be hard to serve a huge group, especially if a majority of the party would show up in the latter part of the hour. It was raining, if that was any excuse. Maybe being all girls could be an excuse, but the…

Don't let the neighborhood fool you by alnla via Citysearch on 3/9/2007

Love it!! by mantelo via Citysearch on 11/17/2006

This place has the best, feel, look, service and FOOD! Oh and I almost forgot...the sangria is to die for! You must try the chicken. I dream about it every now and again. As a matter of fact, I think I'll make a reservation now!

Great Ambiance, very accommodating by liae via Citysearch on 10/24/2006

I've been here many times, for birthdays or family celebrations. I've tried a couple of dishes, but the one I like the best, and now get every time is the sausage and chicken paella. It's perfect. Everything from the Sangria to the…

Great Sangria ... great flavors! by reetercat via Citysearch on 10/15/2006

I have eaten almost everything on the menu. My favorite is still the pizza topped with goat cheese and giant garlic cloves. The coconut shrimp are giant! The tapas sampler had these things called, "banana boats" on it ... amazing. I love…

Great Food Great Service by lady910 via Citysearch on 8/28/2006

Great Food Great Service.\r The management is kind. The food is great. You might want to make reservations on weekends since the place gets packed.

The Food, The Scene, The Drinks and that Guapo Manager! by sugarjuice via Citysearch on 7/26/2006

To say that I was taken away would be an understatement. Forget, Calgon. CHA CHA CHA take me away! My senses were tantalized! From the moment we walked into this little oasis, the colors and music transported me into my mini vacation.…
