Dr. Brining, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, where she was a member of the nationally recognized women’s soccer team. After college, she spent time in an oncology lab at UCSF before heading south to Los Angeles to attend USC’s Keck School of Medicine.
