This "Security" Co gave my private information to 2504 by slowhand2 on 1/23/2016

 

Dealing with this company has been a nightmare.
For their economic benefit this company destroyed my security by posting a video of me, the street where I live, my home along with my neighbor’s home on You Tube on 03-31-2015. They continually show this video without my consent after I specifically told them not to. On 03-18-2015 they untruthfully told me in writing they had destroyed the video and it would never be seen.

On 01-08-2016 I discovered they had not only not destroyed the video but posted it on You Tube and on their website and it has since been viewed by 2504 people! Even after I advised them of the illegality of their action they still have not taken down the video but have simply switched it to "private."

They coerced me into speaking on camera before the nail holes in the gate were filled in and the project was complete. Because the project was not finished I felt uncomfortable with this idea after I did it. I asked them to destroy the video which they promised me they would do.

This "security" company put their greed before my safety. Once these type of pictures are posted Online it is hard to reduce your chances of becoming a victim of identify thieves or other criminals. This is basic security knowledge.

I paid $36,350 for a secure front gate for my home. I paid a premium price to keep my family and my home safe and secure.

The gate they built is structurally unsound and is starting to fall down. The lock they installed does not lock. The gate opener does not always close the gate. The nail holes are filled in so badly the gate looks polka dotted.

I am working with the CLB to get the problems with the project remedied. This company does not have the expertise to correct the problem, their expertise is in sales not security. I am concerned regarding the outcome.

I have no peace of mind knowing so many people have seen this video and I cannot stop them from showing it.

From the amount of Spam I still get from them they put their money into advertising not into their products. They are not experts on security or building quality custom gates. Their goal is to get good reviews by any means possible so they can take advantage of more customers and get more money.

I should have known they were unscrupulous when they illegally took too large of an initial deposit.

I had two other estimates prior to going with Mulholland "Security" which were half the cost. I didn't want to run into any problems with regard to quality craftsmanship so I went with their much higher priced bid. I was paying for peace of mind. Did I get what I paid for? Does having your private information shown to over 2000 people provide peace of mind?

Also they had many good reviews on Yelp. (Which I have now found out by reading another bad review on Yelp they gave discounts for) and they coerce you before your project is complete for a good review which you give in order to hopefully obtain a good final result. Once they get a good review they don't care about delivering on their promise of a quality result or providing for your security.

They plaster your picture and home all over the internet. This is a dangerous and unprofessional business practice, especially for a company representing themselves as a security company.

On 01-19-2016 I was contacted by this company. They did not offer to remedy any of the problems with my project. Or even apologize for lying to me about showing the video online when they said they had destroyed it. They sent me a video of another client's project to prove to me they are willing to send my video via email to anyone they want to and there is nothing I can do to protect myself.

Hopefully someone will learn from my big very expensive mistake and protect themselves from this company.
