I recommend it because it's so damn ostentatious; it's an education. It's also, unfortunately a rip off, but the wine's not bad.

This was our first stop alone the Silverado Trail and what a great choice. We tasted some superb wines and got the low down and how to proceed from there. We were given invitations to other wineries and a few other perks.

Darioush Winery is so beautiful. The architecture is amazing. You drive up through a long tree sided driveway up to what looks like a castle. AND... the wine is GREAT. The people inside are so nice and fun. This was an amzing treat.
