Joseph T. Ling, MD

Dr. Ling was drawn to medicine at a young age, arising from his enjoyment of math and science along with the desire to help others through an unfortunate experience of his mother receiving poor health care.As a board-certified Internist, Dr. Ling chose internal medicine to serve and follow his patients throughout the many stages of life. His patient care philosophy is to treat the patient as a whole and together, with a team-based approach, Dr. Ling partners with his patients to find the best choices for their health. Dr. Ling’s areas of interest include preventative medicine focused on cancer screenings and the early detection and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.Dr. Ling completed medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago and his residency at Riverside Community Hospital. Dr. Ling speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and Spanish.When he is away from the office, Dr. Ling enjoys staying active with his wife and two young children.
