Experiential Landscape Lighting Initiative

Experiential Landscape Lighting Initiative serves the Outdoor Landscape Lighting Professions. Its purpose is to address the emotional aspects of light when combined with nature. Its intent is to provide insight to the experience of "feeling"-- the "Affect." We also serve the Public and Consumers. It's an educational resource available to all. It allows both the layman and professional a means to measure performance, experience, and skill. The Educational Gallery will allow an individual to consider what they are experiencing, as well as to study, think and question what they are viewing.

The mission of ELLI is to act as an educational resource that offers understanding and learning of the landscape lighting professions. It serves the consumer, practitioner, and professional by providing clarity of the practice, and inspiration of the art-form. The experience of light and nature is a betterment solution to good human health. Light and Nature both have the inherent ability to provide positive psychological and physiological benefits to human kind. Many studies have already shown that these contributing factors act as a restorative tool in well being. As we know, many human ailments are developed by stress, life style, and work. Effective lighting applications can provide a means to counter these negative influences.
