The bar is very cliquey, with insuders getting good service. The food is mediocre and overpriced. Altogether, this is a good place to watch the downfall of california cuisine.

small portions though, and the prices are sky high. same owner as uncle chung's has done a great job of bringing something BETTER to pinole though it is hardly affordable.

This is a good restaurent its french / asian inspired cuisine. It can be noisy most of the time so it isnt really a good place to be able to sit and have a conversation but if you enjoy the energy of a bustling place this is for you.

Pear Street is bright, clean and modern. Patrons can see into the kitchen at what the chefs are doing. The service is friendly and prompt, and the owner is usually around too. The hostesses are chic, stylish and thin, adding to the…
