Melissa Nyman is a Partner of Nyman Turkish PC in the California office. Melissa is a passionate and zealous advocate for her clients. She specializes in advocacy for the rights of disabled individuals and assisting people with disabilities obtain Social Security Disability benefits. Her experience includes bringing justice for her clients in a suit against the Detroit Metro Airport for violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and current litigation against the American Bar Association for forcing her legally blind client to take the discriminatory LSAT examination, which requires test takers to draw pictures. Melissa also maintains a thriving practice advocating for those in need of Social Security Disability benefits. She assists her clients in all stages of the Social Security Disability process, from filling out the initial application to advocating on their behalf at hearing.
