Sonny is an artist. Best Japanese restaurant in the bay area. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Staff is pleasant and always available to help you. They always welcome you with a smile and great service.

This is a pretty good sushi and japanese restaurant in San Mateo. It's set apart from the rest of downtown San Mateo, so you need to seek it out. I would come back here if I'm in the area.

Have been coming here since I was a young child. I don't eat sushi but love the alternatives on the menu. The service staff is eager to please and it is comfortable knowing that it is family run. The atmosphere is fantastic!
