I visited Dr. Jason Kung’s clinic in February 2026 at 1565 Hollenbeck Ave, Ste 106, Sunnyvale, CA 94087.
My dental issue was fairly tricky because the cavity was on the side of my tooth rather than on the top, which makes fillings more likely to come off. Dr. Kung patiently explained the pros and cons of three different types of fillings, specifically addressing the challenges of my situation.
This is Dr. Kung’s new clinic (he recently moved from a different location), so everything is brand new. The clinic is very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. When I arrived, the receptionist greeted me with a smile, double-checked my name, and personally went to inform Dr. Kung that I had arrived.
Dr. Kung has very gentle hands, and he explained each step of the procedure as he went along. He frequently checked to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any discomfort. I didn’t even feel anything when he administered the anesthesia near my tooth.
Overall, my experience at his clinic was wonderful. I will definitely visit Dr. Kung again if I have any dental issues in the future. I would be very happy to recommend his services to anyone I know.

Dr. Jason Kung was calm, thorough, and explained the diagnosis and treatment plan clearly. They used a 3D scan/CBCT to confirm the diagnosis, which gave me confidence in the plan. Billing/fees were explained clearly before treatment.
I had severe tooth pain and couldn’t sleep — I could sleep that night. I felt comfortable the entire time—professional, efficient, and compassionate team. Highly recommend for anyone in Sunnyvale or the South Bay needing an endodontist (root canal specialist).
