John Fang, MD

Dr. John Fang earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University, after receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, graduating with general and departmental honors. At the Mayo Clinic, he completed an internship in medicine and a residency in ophthalmology, and served as co-chief resident in his final year. A subsequent fellowship in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery at Baylor College of Medicine further refined his surgical skills. Throughout his training, Dr. Fang has received numerous awards including the Gill Scholarship for Ophthalmology Research and the National Eye Institute Fellowship award.
