History

Established in 2007.

Following his passion for horticulture and design, Jay Petrow, principal of PetrowGardens and lead designer, left the world of magazine art direction in 2007 to start his own landscape design / build company in Westport, CT. Capitalizing on his design talents to visualize solutions in solving complex spatial problems within a property, Jay also uses his fine art background in creating landscapes rich with patterns of color, texture and form. PetrowGardens has designed informal natural landscapes using native plants and grasses as well as more structural gardens that evoke a classic look.
