Maria Restrepo, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine and cares for adults with a wide range of health conditions, from heart disease to diabetes.
Dr. Restrepo also specializes in helping patients lose weight and improve their health and wellness. She has additional board certification in obesity medicine, a new specialty of medicine. Using the latest evidence-based techniques, she provides support and treatment for patients struggling with obesity.
Dr. Restrepo earned her medical degree at Pontificial Javeriana University School of Medicine in Colombia. She completed her internship and residency at Danbury Hospital, a Yale University affiliated hospital.
Dr. Restrepo provides compassionate care for all her patients. She works to help them understand their health so they can make good decisions about their care. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
