Amara Shafi, MD

Amara Shafi, MD was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Her pursuit in medicine is based on the ideology of patient-centered care. Dr. Shafi completed medical school with Ross University School of Medicine in 2020 and went on to complete Internal Medicine Residency with SUNY Downstate-Primary Care track in 2023. Her focus as a primary care physician is preventative medicine. Some of her interests include ultrasound and joint injections. Dr. Shafi's hobbies include hiking, cooking and spending her downtime with family.
