Marwah Khalid Tareen, MD

Marwah Khalid Tareen, M.D., M.B.A. is a primary care physician at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Her areas of clinical expertise include general family medicine and primary care with a particular interest in prevention of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease.  Dr. Tareen earned her Medical Degree from Sint Eustatius School of Medicine and her M.B.A. in Health Systems Management at Davenport University. She did her medical residency at Hackensack Mountainside Family Medicine in Montclair, New Jersey. Dr. Tareen is originally from Lahore, Pakistan, and grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended George Mason University where she earned a degree in Health Systems Management with a minor in Pre-Medical Sciences. Dr. Tareen lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and son.
