Beebe Healthcare

Founded in 1916 by two physician brothers, Drs. James Beebe and Richard C. Beebe, the medical center in Lewes is a 210-licensed-bed, not-for-profit seaside community hospital. Beebe's specialized service lines include cardiovascular, oncology, women's health, and orthopaedics.

Beebe also operates the Beebe Health Campus on Route 24, Beebe Lab Express, Wound Care and Diabetes Management Services, Sleep Disorders Center, Gull House Adult Activities Center, Home Health Agency, a Nursing School, and satellite imaging and lab services throughout Sussex County.

Our Medical Staff has grown tremendously since the early 1990s. Family practice physicians, specialists, internists, and several surgeons are available so residents do not have to travel long distances for quality medical treatment. Beebe also operates the Millville Emergency Center near Bethany Beach during the summer.
