My Name is Karl D. Calkin Sr. and I was born in New Jersey. Following my education, I went to work for my father Harry Calkin. He was a painting, sandblasting, and roofing contractor with 5 children and a great wife. That was when my real education started. He was a fair but stern man who taught me that his company was a service business and without happy, satisfied customers who believed and trusted him he would have no business at all. He taught me a base of knowledge that is my business belief to this day.
