We believe that through positive reinforcement, mentoring, and motivating our competitors, we challenge them to the next level of their dancing. While performing, dancers are critiqued by a professional and experienced panel of judges. Studio directors receive complimentary videos of their students' performances with each individual judge's critiques within just a few days after the competition. These videos are incredibly valuable to dancers as they learn and grow through expert advice and positive commentaries. This service is just one of the perks that sets us apart from other competitions.

We promote positive experiences and building self-esteem. Each and every performer is recognized at our Awards Ceremonies and receives an award for their efforts. Special awards and scholarships are also awarded to distinguished dancers. Master classes taught by renowned teachers and choreographers are offered as a complimentary educational supplement to the competitors.

In addition to this new and innovative experience, Shake the Ground has state of the art video and audio systems at all of its regional and national competitions. Dancers are able to purchase their professional quality videos and photographs immediately following their performances.
