At Total Health & Rehab Center, Dr. Michael Minett, DC provides an array of chiropractic services for residents of both Boca Raton and Plantation, Florida. With almost 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Minett is viewed by many patients as one of the most knowledgeable chiropractors in the Boca Raton and Plantation areas.
Originally from New York, Dr. Minett began his postsecondary education at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology, he went on to study chiropractic at Life University, which is in Atlanta. Dr. Minett earned his doctor of chiropractic degree after completing Life University’s rigorous four-year program.
Today, Dr. Minett not only has a doctor of chiropractic degree, but he continues to educate himself through extensive reading and by attending seminars. He is one of only a few chiropractors in the United States who is certified to perform manipulations while patients are under anesthesia.
Prior to founding the Total Health & Rehab Center, Dr. Minett spent eight years working at a busy, injury-focused chiropractic practice. During this time, he worked his way up to become the clinic’s director and gained valuable experience treating a wide range of injuries. Because of this valuable experience, Dr. Minett is able to offer a number of different services to residents at his Boca Raton and Plantation centers. He also offers general chiropractic care, laser therapy, massage therapy and physical therapy.
When not helping patients, Dr. Minett enjoys many different activities. He likes to read, drive cars, fish, play football, and exercise. Most of all, Dr. Minett enjoys spending time and doing these activities with his wife, Dr. Jamie Burford-Minett, and their three daughters, Skylar, Reese, and Jayden.
