Dr. Rutherford graduated with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and chemistry from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, where he was on the National Dean’s List and inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. He also has specialty training in wound care.
