Brad Benfield | SouthState Small Business

Brad Benfield is the Small Business Banker for SouthState Bank at the Cornelia Historical Hwy 441 branch located in Cornelia, Georgia. Brad is responsible for Small Business Banking. In addition, he is a consumer lender and is responsible for gathering deposits and opening credit card accounts. Brad attended Piedmont College, where he obtained a BA degree in Economics.

Brad joined SouthState in 1992 and has spent 32 years serving customers in various banking roles, including teller, assistant branch manager, and branch manager. He also completed Leadership Habersham through the Habersham Chamber of Commerce and graduated from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business - Georgia Banking School.

Brad lives in Demorest, Georgia, with his wife Miranda and has two daughters, Brooke and Meagan. Brad enjoys fishing bass tournaments and hunting in his spare time.
