The farm has been in our family for over 100 years. It started out as a produce farm with ancestral names of McDaniel, Benton, and Sims. Under our name, Sims, the farm became a dairy from 1946-2004. Because of increased population and the aroma of the dairy, our family decided to shut down the dairy in 2004.Now we are a sod farm year round. In 2013, our family decided to add You Pick or We Pick strawberries to the farm. Seasonally, we sell strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and sweet corn. We recently started selling USDA labeled and inspected meat.
