First Command Financial Advisor - Marcos Colon

Marcos Colon joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2019. He previously worked for 3 years as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual.

Marcos has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Augusta State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology Spanish from Georgia College and State University. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in GA and SC.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Marcos serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Marcos will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in his community, Marcos is a member of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time, Marcos enjoys golf, cooking, and baseball.
